Last day in Canada for a while. The guy who just barely got his application in on time last November would probably not believe me if I told him he'd be here.
I probably forgot a lot of things. Oh well!

Blogging it up - Intro Post
Ah yes, blogging. People blog for numerous reasons these days, and one of those (I believe) happens to be "because I am going to live and work in a foreign country for a year". I won't claim this to be the first, nor the last, and especially not the most interesting of this type. But the category seems appropriate.
Numbers I found on the internet tell us that between 60% and 80% of blogs are abandoned within the first month, so maybe this won't last a long while. But the hope is that this blog will serve as something Kelsey and I can update in/frequently with titbits about our lives in Japan - a platform to assure our friends and family that we are not in any grave danger aside from perhaps the humidity. And spiders.
I'll be leaving for Japan three days from now, and Kelsey will hopefully follow in September. Exciting stuff!
